“I have had some great jobs, but for the past few years I had felt like my career path was slowly veering off track. I wanted to get it back on track, but I wasn’t sure how to go about doing it. Kelly helped me organize my thoughts and get to the bottom of what it was that I really wanted to do. There are a lot of career counselors and coaches out there eager to tell you what to do, but what I found most useful from Kelly was she also told you how to do it. Once I had that figured out, it became easier to target opportunities that met my needs. And, as evidence that her method works, I landed my dream job with my dream company within a few short weeks thanks to her guidance!”

“I think Kelly is great. Her style suited me very well. It was a challenging time for me throughout the entire time we worked together trying to balance my own time with the demands of a busy corporate environment. So I think a lot of the time it was actually me not being able to show up as much as I would have liked – for myself.  But Kelly is approachable, empathetic, effective, and extremely professional.  I will recommend her whenever I get the chance.”

“The coaching I did with Kelly was the best thing I’ve done for my career and for myself in a long time.  Two words that stand out for me are Clarity and Confidence – clarity around my strengths, skills, and values, and confidence that what I already have is valuable and marketable.  The work that Kelly and I did together allowed me to focus on my job search with a real sense of direction, and happiness even!  Kelly excells at listening and sensing what kind of feedback is needed to help reach a goal, and after each and every one of our sessions I felt as though I was given a gem of wisdom and insight.  Her insights have helped me focus my efforts and get tangible results from my job search.  In fact, after every informational interview I do, people say they are impressed with how I am going about this job search process.  I truly believe that this newfound confidence and clarity will set me apart and help me get the right job, even in this economy.  I wouldn’t have done it nearly as well without having gone through career coaching with Kelly!!”

“It was amazing working with Kelly. Kelly helped me find my ideal career in a terrible economy. Through her process I was able to figure out what things I couldn’t give up in a career. She helped me articulate those goals in my resume and elevator speech so that I was able to land one of the best positions I have ever had. I would recommend her to anyone at any stage in their career.”

“I went to Kelly when I was at somewhat of a turning point in my life/career. I had been willy nilly taking jobs without any real clarity on what exactly I wanted near and short term in a career or even a job for that matter.  I was in a job that I was not happy with, I was starting to lose sight of what it was that I was good at.  Kelly helped me to explore what I REALLY want in a job (function, environment, career path, etc.) and she helped me rediscover all the things that make me a valuable employee.  She helped me deal with a few very difficult situations at work too (conflicts with bosses etc.).  I had her help me to redo my resume and let me tell you, if you do nothing else with her, do that.  She knows what people are looking for, she can help you position yourself in such a way that your resume reflects the real value you brought to a position, rather than just describing the job function.  I was actually surprised at how great I sounded once she was done!  Of course she reminded me that it was because I really DID all those things. She helped guide me through my job interviews and employment negotiation too.

I can honestly say that without her help, I would still be at the job I hated wondering what went wrong without any semblance of a plan to get myself out.  I was in a place where I started to believe that I didn’t have anything to offer any employer and I was feeling great despair about it.  I know it sounds dramatic but that is honestly where I was.  She helped me to come out of that funk and get more confidence about what I had to offer a potential employer.  She helped me craft interview questions that would help me determine if I REALLY wanted the job I was interviewing for – that is key because at one point I ended up taking a job just to leave my situation and I hated that too.

I can now say that I am in a job that I LOVE working for a company that I LOVE and with people that I LOVE.  My work life hasn’t been this great in years and I have Kelly to thank for helping me not only realize my value but also to identify what it was that I WANTED.

I am glad that I worked with her, and I plan to do so again the next time I am looking for career guidance (probably in the next phase of my career).  I recommend her to all of my friends and I highly recommend her to you.
